Welcome to Caritas Anchor House

Caritas Anchor House is a residential and life skills centre for single homeless people. Based in the East End of London, we support over 200 people each year, giving them so much more than just a roof over their heads. Our aim is to address the root causes of homelessness and create sustainable solutions that ensure the people we help will never find themselves in that situation again.

Work begins on final stage of Home and Hope Appeal

We are delighted to announce that building work on the final stage of our Home and Hope Appeal has commenced.

Launched in 2011, this £9.3 million appeal aims to transform Caritas Anchor House into a 21st century facility and fit-for-purpose complex.

Fundraising hike raises nearly £7,000

A team of five friends have raised nearly £7,000 for Caritas Anchor House in a trek across the foothills of Annapurna.

Keith Fernett, Graham and Eleanor Toms and Ken and Lila Winger were hiking to raise funds for people affected by homelessness, drug and alcohol misuse, mental health, domestic violence and crime.
